Sunday Services At the Legion

We are happy to announce that the Bridgetown branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is allowing us the use of their space for our Sunday morning worship services, while the Salvation Army is allowing us the use of their facilities for other meetings.

We will continue to carry on the ministry Jesus entrusted to us. 

The Bridgetown Baptist Church Family has been enormously touched by the kindness of everyone in the community during and since the loss of our church building on April 26^th.

We particularly appreciate the first responders who were on site all day, and the many offers of help and support received by so many in the community and beyond.

There have been questions about the cleanup of the site. Debris from a fire cannot be cleaned up and transported from the site for two weeks after the fire; this is a provincial regulation. It is expected that the site will begin to be cleaned up on Monday, May 13th. 

Many people have been asking about making a donation to our Building Fund. There is now an account at the Valley Credit Union in Bridgetown for this purpose. If a tax receipt is needed, however, donations should be made either by e-transfer to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or by cheque to Bridgetown Baptist Church, PO Box 429, Bridgetown, NS B0S 1C0, in both cases designating “Building Fund” and including a return address for a receipt.

More Big Adventures!

While Noah's Big Adventures may be over, our journey continues with more exciting events lined up!

Join us on Sunday, March 24 (Palm Sunday) for a memorable music service where we'll share a couple of our songs straight from our time on the "Ark." Afterward, all Big Adventures kiddos will help prepare for Coffee and Conversation following the service.

But that's not all! The adventures continue with a Fabulous Family Service on EASTER SUNDAY. Then, mark your calendars for Global Adventures with Joanne Wright during Sunday morning services from April 7 to May 5. Then be sure to keep an eye out for updates on our next Big Adventure, starting on Sunday, May 12!

Welcome to Bridgetown Baptist Pastoral Charge

Nestled between the North & South Mountains within this historic Town and the picturesque Western Annapolis Valley, Bridgetown Baptist Church [est. 1801/building 1891], and our two affiliated churches, Centrelea Baptist Church and West Dalhousie Baptist Church, have a two century-plus tradition of "bridging generations" and "spanning the divide" with the light, life and love of Christ"

Part of the 107 year-old, Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada since its founding, we uphold the historic Christian faith and teachings, centering on the life and work of Christ and the reliability of the Bible. We also strive to faithfully teach and share the gospel in fresh terms and creative ways with folks of all ages and faith backgrounds.

Our worship services blend classic and modern hymns, familiar Christian choruses, special sacred and gospel pieces led by our Bridgetown Baptist organists, pianists, soloists and other instrumentalists; themed Scripture readings and prayer. This is complemented by topical and biblical messages, linked to the Christian Year, seasonal calendar and current events.
